Smith's 3rd Month

The "awakening" happened in Smith's 3rd month if life. I didn't actually know there was a term for his coming alive, recognizing he's in the world, and interacting with people and objects, but I guess there is. Smith still has a sort of serious, maybe shy?, disposition but he is a lot more fun!

Here are some highlights and general abilities that have emerged in the 3rd month:

Finding/sucking on fingers
Playing with or looking at toys and books
Grasping things
Turning on side
Rolling front to back (9-10 weeks)
Outgrowing 0-3 month clothes
Holding his weight
Jumping
Laughing when thrown up in the air
Having "conversations"
Started some sleep training
Snuggling with lovies
Snuggling when held
13.5 lbs

I can't wait to see what will happen in the next month. It seems like there is something new everyday!
